Homeless Services (Madison County Only)

There’s no face of homelessness. It can impact a wide variety of people, at various points in life. We understand that, and we’re here to help. Our programs and services are designed to help homeless residents of Madison County get back on their feet and on the path toward self-sufficiency.

Our first priority is to ensure clients have safe, short-term accommodations. This may include negotiating a client’s current living arrangements to extend their stay until a permanent residence can be established. When necessary, we will place eligible clients at our own private shelter or find other appropriate accommodations.

Once safe, short-term accommodation is established, clients will receive one-on-one advocacy with a housing specialist to create a plan for a sustainable solution to end their homelessness. This may include up to $500 for families who are doubled up or homeless and requires participation in Family Development and Financial Literacy.
