Looking for Subcontractors?
Bridges Community Action Partnership, serving Champaign, Delaware, Logan, Madison, Shelby and Union Counties, a private non-profit funded by Federal, State, and Local Government grants, is accepting applications for potential subcontractors of Weatherization supportive services, including but not limited to weatherization, plumbing, electrical, roofing and heating work according to the Standard Work Specifications (SWS). These Standards may be viewed online at https://sws.nrel.gov. Bridges CAP reserves the right to reject all proposals or to waive any informality in the application process. Minority Business Enterprises and EDGE businesses will be offered full opportunity to submit proposals and will not be subjected to discrimination on the basis of race, color, sex or national origin in consideration of any contract. If selected, contractors must have or be willing to obtain the following:
- Licensure may be required
- EPA Firm Certification – Lead Safe
- Lead RRP Certification
- Workers Comp
- Liability Insurance
- HWAP Specialized Training
- Background Checks
- Other Requirements as Mandated by Program

Home Weatherization Assistance Program (HWAP)
HWAP helps eligible low-income residents reduce their energy costs by providing free weatherization and energy-saving services. For more information about Ohio’s Home Weatherization Assistance Program, call the Ohio Development Services Agency at 800-848-1300.
Services May Include:
- Home inspection for safety and energy efficiency
- Installation of insulation
- Reducing air leakage
- Repair or replace furnaces
- Access to other repair programs
Who Is Eligible?
- Total household income must be at or below 200% of federal poverty guidelines
